Skiing over - Disco night !!!!!

Well that's it for another year ! All the skiing finished and no broken bones. A few pulled and tired muscles but all in all everyone seems in good spirits.
A lot busier today but still an excellent day for skiing and as we had an extra instructor today everyone benefitted from better tuition. The best skiers visited the top of the mountains either side of Sestriere and the beginners made great strides with a smaller class size.

Class is 2013

The hotel

Shopping in Sestriere tonight, followed by packing before tea then out to the discotec. Early start in the morning before visit to Turin enroute to Milan airport.
At the moment all journey details are as previously reported if there are any changes will get the pupils to txt etc but please be on time at either airport or school as everyone will be very tired and very keen to get to bed before school on Monday morning.

Oh Pablo we love you !!!!

Most of the girls seem to have fallen for our ski rep Pablo or the Italian army who are doing manoeuvres every morning , but never fear Mr Jamieson and I are on hand to save the poor men !
If anything the conditions today have been even better than yesterday and all the pupils are pushing themselves to and in some cases past the limit! But don't worry there have been no broken bones just a few damaged ego's and maybe a battered confidence here and there. As Mr Jameson and I always say
If your not falling over your either not trying hard enough or going fast enough !
On that note we are often asked how fast do you ski - well Mr J has an App on his phone which suggests that today he and I may have hit between 50-60 mph at times.
As I write most of kids are in the pool with Mr J and Mrs Holt supervising and after tea it's a trip out for ice cream and/ or crepes.
Tomorrow after skiing we will have a look around Sestriere and then on Sunday we have arranged to have a stop and look around Turin before heading to the airport in Milan.

One of the ski lessons, with Sandro (I think).

The race to lunch

Pizza for lunch today went down very well with Frannie and Tess joining Mr J and myself in mopping up any left overs.

Post lunch sunbathe.

All good so far

Flight great landed safely
Ski hire sorted

Hotel great, rooms very generous and food very Italian! Few issues over kids deciding they didn't like the food before trying it but everyone had something and hotel staff very nice so if we ask for some basic food I'm sure sure they will be only to happy to help.
